Speech-to-Speech Translator

Break language barriers in real time with Melp’s Speech-to-Speech Translator during calls.

To use this feature, ensure there are only two participants in the call.

  • The moderator can enable the feature by clicking on Enable Voice Translator from the meeting tools.

Once enabled, the moderator selects:

  • Speaking Language (supports 99 languages)

  • Listening Language (supports 7 languages)

  • After the moderator selects the language, participants will see an option on their side to choose their preferred listening language.

  • The system will then automatically translate spoken conversation in real time, allowing both users to communicate seamlessly.

  • This feature is only available for one-to-one calls. If more than two participants are present, the Enable Voice Translator option will not be visible.

  • If a third participant joins during an active session, the translator will automatically be disabled, and users will be notified.

Only moderators or designated admins can start Speech to speech translation.

Evaluation Mode

Evaluation Mode in the melp app is a smart evaluation feature that enables structured, AI-powered candidate assessments.

  • Upload the candidate’s resume (mandatory) and add a job description (text or file) to begin.
  • After that, select the candidate you want to evaluate to proceed.

  • Once selected, the system automatically generates Round 1 screening questions tailored to the role.

  • In Round 2, the system generates in-depth, role-specific questions to evaluate the candidate more deeply and You can choose questions from categories such as: Communication, Adaptability, Technical, Domain Knowledge, Leadership & Initiative, Problem Solving, Behavioral Skills

  • During the interview, candidates join in full-screen mode after accepting the session invite.

  • You also get real-time engagement insights, including: Focus tracking, Gaze movement, Head rotation, Tab-switch detection

These insights help you better understand candidate attention and behavior during the interview.

AI Summarization

No more scrambling for notes — Melp’s AI Summarization has you covered.

When the moderator clicks on Summary under the More menu, a popup appears with two options:

  • Toggle ON - Enable AI Summary for meeting.

  • Choose a summary template – Meeting, Interview, or Standup.

Once the meeting ends, a summary is automatically emailed to the moderator and Automatically saved to the moderator’s Drive

Only moderators or designated admins can start AI Summarization.

Live Captions

Never miss a word in your meetings again! With Live Captions, melp app automatically converts spoken words into real-time text during your calls.

To use this feature,

  • Open Meeting Tools and click on the Live Captions option.

  • Once enabled, the Live Captions panel will open and start displaying real-time transcriptions of the conversation.

  • You can also select your preferred language to view captions translated instantly, making conversations easier to follow across different languages.

  • Only the moderator can enable Live Captions for the meeting.

  • After the meeting ends, the full transcript is automatically saved in Melp Drive under Meeting Logs for future reference.

This feature helps you stay focused, improves clarity, and makes meetings more inclusive for everyone.

Ask AI (Meeting Intelligence)

Ask AI is a smart meeting assistant in the melp app that helps users instantly understand what is happening in a meeting using AI-powered context from transcripts.

  • This feature becomes available only when Live Captions are enabled.

  • You can access it by tapping the red “Star" icon at the top during a meeting. Once opened, it shows the Ask AI panel.

  • Inside Ask AI, you get three quick options: Summary, Key Discussion, Action Items by selecting any option, AI instantly generates relevant insights from the ongoing meeting.

You can also ask custom questions like: - “What was discussed?” - “What happened in the last 15 minutes?” - “Give me an overview of the meeting”

This is especially useful if you join a meeting late, as it helps you quickly catch up and understand the full context in real time.

Breakout Rooms

Need small-group discussions during a large team call? melp app makes it effortless.

  • Moderators can create Breakout Rooms for different teams within a single call.
  • Participants can jump between rooms as needed.
  • The moderator can move users from one room to another — perfect for managing collaboration in real time.
