Accessing Book an Appointment
Getting started is quick and easy:
- Head to the Calendar module.
- Click on Go to My Booking Page to open your personalized booking page.
- A new scheduling window will open where you can: Create events, set your availability and manage existing bookings

Setting Your Availability
Want to make it easy for others to book time with you? With MelpApp, you can set up multiple availability slots that fit your schedule.
How to Create an Availability Slot
- From the left sidebar, click My Availability.
- Hit New to create a fresh slot.
- Pick your start time, end time, and the days you want to be available.
- Click Save and you’re all set!
Tips for Managing Your Availability
- Create as many slots as you need split your mornings and afternoons, or keep it flexible.
- Need to make changes? Just click More Options on any slot to edit, make default or delete it.
Pro Tip: Labeling your slots helps others instantly know the best time to connect with you.
How to Create an Event
Creating an event in MelpApp is quick, simple, and totally customizable. Whether it’s a one-on-one chat, a team sync, or a full workshop, you’re in control of every detail.
- From the booking page, hit the Create Event Type button to begin setting up your event.
- Choose the format that works best for you — One-on-One for private sessions, Team Event for group meetings, or Workshop for trainings and larger groups and click Proceed to move forward.
- Set the stage by adding your Event Name, Event Description, Location, Time & Duration, and choose whether your Event Type is Public or Private.
- On the event side panel, go to Availability Options.
Click the Choose Availability dropdown to pick from your saved availability slots and select the one that works best for this event.
- From the side panel, open Limits Options to control how people join by setting a booking limit, enabling confirmation approvals, and managing guest permissions.
- Once everything looks good, click Create Event.
Your event is now live and ready for bookings!

Take full control of your events without any hassle—right from the event card!
Click the More Options menu on your event card, and you can:
- Share → Instantly send the booking link to others.
- Edit → Update event details anytime to keep everything accurate.
- Make Public/Private → Switch visibility with just one click.
- Turn Off Event → Pause new bookings temporarily without deleting the event.
- Copy Event Link → Quickly grab the link for easy sharing.
- Delete Event → Permanently remove it from your calendar.
Use Turn Off Event when you just need a break from new bookings—no need to delete the entire event!
Customize Your Calendar Link
Your calendar link is your personal booking gateway—make it short, simple, and memorable.
By customizing it, you can reflect your name, brand, or style so it’s easy for others to remember and share.
Best of all, your changes update instantly and are ready to use.
- From the sidebar, click My Link.
- Enter your custom text to make your link short, personal, and easy to remember and click Save Changes — your link updates instantly.
Sharing Your Calendar Link
- Copy it from the Share dropdown on the booking page or from your profile menu and use the Send by Email option to share directly.
- Post it on social media so anyone can book with you instantly.
When someone clicks your link, all your public events will be visible.
What You Can Do After a Booking
- Go to My Bookings from the sidebar to:
- Accept, Decline, or Cancel – Manage bookings by approving, rejecting, or canceling them, with automatic attendee notifications.
- From the More Options menu in any booking, you can:
- Click on Request a Reschedule - Suggest a new time.
- Click on Add Guests - Invite additional participants.
- Click on Edit Location - Update the venue or meeting link.
- Use clear event titles and descriptions so attendees know exactly what to expect.
- Mark events as Private for sensitive or high-priority meetings.
- Limit booking slots on public events to keep your schedule manageable.
