Accessing Melp Drive
Melp Drive is your secure space to store, organize, and share files—all inside MelpApp.
You can access it directly from the web in just a few steps:
- Access from Dashboard or Access from the left sidebar, click on Melp Drive
- Your Drive dashboard will open, where you can create new files and folders, upload documents and media and access My Drive, Recent, and more

How to Upload or Create Files & Folders
With Melp Drive, organizing your work is effortless. Whether you’re uploading important files or creating brand-new documents, everything is just a click away.
- Simply open Melp Drive from the main menu and click the New button in the top-left corner. From there, you can:
- Upload a File Choose a document, image, video, or any file type from your device.
- Start a New Document - Open a blank doc in the editor, ready for drafting.
- Build a Spreadsheet - Manage data, formulas, and charts with ease.
- Design a Presentation - Craft professional slide decks with built-in tools and templates.
- Create a New Folder - Give it a name and keep your files neatly organized.
Your files and folders appear instantly—no refreshing needed.
Each file also opens directly in its own editor, so you can start working right away.
Use folders to group related files and keep projects organized—it makes collaboration smoother and faster.
Seamless Collaboration & Smart Sharing
Melp Drive makes it simple to collaborate with your team and securely share files or folders. Whether you’re working on a document together or giving someone access to view, you’re always in control.
Permission Controls
- Share with individual users, entire teams, or specific groups.
- Choose the right level of access:
- Viewer → Can only view the file.
- Editor → Can view, comment, and edit.
Real-Time Collaboration
- Work together with multiple users simultaneously on the same file.
- See changes live with user cursors, highlights, and comments.
- Track suggestions, discussions, and comment resolutions to keep collaboration organized.
If Approved by the Organizer
- The user is allowed into the meeting
- They can participate just like other attendees: Video, Voice and in-call Chat and other in call features.
Sharing Options
- Share directly via your Melp contacts, topics, or group lists.
- Automatically notify collaborators with email alerts so they never miss an update.
How to Share Files or Folders
- Click the More Options icon.
- Select Share.
- In the Share window: Pick the people, groups, or topics you want to share with, Set permissions: View or Edit and click Send.
You can update or remove access anytime. Shared files and folders will appear in the recipient’s “Shared With Me” section for quick access.
Use Editor access only when collaboration is needed. For sensitive files, stick to Viewer mode for extra control.

How to Collaborate on Documents
Collaboration is simple and flexible. Anyone with access can contribute, and you control permissions.
From Melp Drive
- Locate the document you want to share and click Share from More options list.
- Set permissions and send invites just like sharing files normally.
From Inside the Document
- Open the document and click the (i) icon at the top-right corner.
- Select Manage Access.
- Choose people or groups, set View/Edit permissions, and send the invite.
Pro Tip: Collaborators with edit access can make changes in real time. You can update or revoke access anytime to maintain control over your files.
How to Organize Team Folders in Melp
Keeping your team files organized is easy with Melp Drive. Shared folders and documents are sorted so you can quickly find what you need.
- Go to Melp Drive and click Shared Files in the sidebar.
- Choose your view:
- Shared with Me - Items others have shared with you.
- Shared by Me - Items you’ve shared with others.
- Sort shared items by:
- Group - Organizes files by team or workgroup.
- Topic - Organizes files by discussion threads or projects.
- Inside each view, folders and files appear neatly arranged for easy access.
- Use More Options on any file or folder to preview, download, or view details.
- Select multiple files/folders using checkboxes for bulk actions like downloading or removing permissions.
Pro Tip: Regularly review shared folders and sort by Group or Topic to keep your team’s workspace clutter-free and easy to navigate.
