You can schedule a meeting for the future, either as a one-time event or a recurring meeting, or start one instantly. Inviting your co-workers to the meeting is also effortless, as you can send invitations through email or calendar invites. Additionally, you can invite others to join an ongoing meeting by clicking on "Add to Call" and typing in their name or email address, or by sharing the meeting link via email or instant message.

How to schedule a meeting

MelpApp offers different ways to schedule meetings, whether you want to start one instantly or schedule it for the future as a one-time event or a recurring meeting. Here are the steps to schedule a meeting:

  • Click on the Create Meeting button from either the calendar or dashboard option.
  • Fill out the meeting details such as the meeting title, invitees, date, time, recurrence type, time slots, and attachment (if any).
  • Click on the Create button to schedule the meeting.
  • Your meeting has been scheduled successfully.

That's it! With these simple steps, you can schedule a meeting and collaborate with your team effortlessly.

How to Join a Meeting:

You can participate in a meeting using any of your devices. Here's how it's done:

  • In your email invite, click the Join Meeting button. That's all! Melp makes it simple to schedule and attend meetings.

You can also attend a meeting without creating an account.

For a better experience, download Melp from the download centre before joining a meeting on a computer or mobile device.

How to schedule a meeting with non-melper

You can easily schedule a meeting with people who don't have a Melp account by following these steps:

  • Click on the Create Meeting button from the calendar/dashboard option.
  • Enter the meeting details such as the meeting title and description.
  • In the Add Invitees section, add the email address of the non-Melp user.
  • Select the time slots, duration, reminder, and recurrence type as needed.
  • If you have any attachments to share, upload them in the designated section.
  • Click on the Create button to schedule the meeting with the non-Melp user.

Note: The non-Melp user will receive an email invitation with all the necessary details to join the meeting. They can join the conference without having a Melp account just by clicking on the invitation link received in their email.

However, it is recommended that they should create a Melp account for a better video or audio experience and to use all the features of the platform.

How to schedule recurring meetings

MelpApp has introduced many features for scheduling and editing recurring meetings:

  • All meeting instances are listed separately so that users always get notifications for each instance.
  • Users can create exceptions to recurring meetings.
  • When editing or deleting a particular instance, users can choose to edit or delete only that occurrence or the entire series.

Here's how you can schedule a recurring meeting using MelpApp:

  • Go to the Calendar tab from the left panel.
  • Click on the Create Meeting button.
  • Fill out the meeting details like title, invitees, time slots, and attachments (if any).
  • Select the recurrence type from the drop-down menu (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Confirm all the details and click on the Create button to schedule the meeting.

If you need to make changes to a recurring meeting, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Calendar tab from the left panel.
  • Select the scheduled recurring meeting from the left panel.
  • Click on the Edit button.
  • Make the desired changes to the meeting details or recurrence pattern.
  • Click on the Update button to save the changes.

Book an appointment

MelpApp Book an Appointment feature empowers you to take control of your schedule by setting up appointment slots based on your availability. This way, you can focus on the meeting itself without the hassle of making arrangements.

Here's how it works: Melp provides a calendar view of available dates and times, allowing you to select the most convenient option for your schedule. Once you've chosen your preferred appointment slot, you simply need to provide your contact information to complete the booking process. Send your calendar link to participants for appointment bookings. We'll then send you a confirmation of your appointment via email or phone, which includes all the relevant details such as date, time, and any other information you need to know.

By using this feature, you can streamline your scheduling process and have more time to focus on what really matters - your meetings. Additionally, having control over your availability helps you avoid the stress of overbooking or double-booking appointments.

How to Book an appointment with anyone using MelpApp.

With this feature, you can easily manage your schedule by setting up appointment slots based on your availability. Here's how it works:

  • Start by logging into your MelpApp dashboard.
  • Navigate to your calendar and copy the calendar link.
  • Share the link with the person you want to schedule an appointment with.

Participants can then click on the link to be directed to the booking screen

  • Enter the meeting details such as title slots, and attachments (if any).
  • After all the details have been filled out, participant can click on the Create Meeting button.
  • Enter name and email address.
  • To confirm their email address, a One Time Password will be sent to your email. Enter this one-time code to proceed.
  • Once the participant verifies email address, the meeting will be successfully created.

Calendar syncing

MelpApp provides an easy way to sync your online calendars, such as Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar, to help you manage your schedule more efficiently. Syncing your calendars helps avoid scheduling conflicts, and makes sure you stay on top of your appointments.

Here's how you can sync your calendar using MelpApp:

  • Go to Calendar.
  • Click on the Connect Calendar button located at the top right of your screen.
  • Choose your preferred calendar, such as Google or Microsoft Calendar.
  • Sign in using your login credentials.
  • Your calendars will be synced automatically.
  • You will see all your meetings and appointments in both calendars.

By syncing your calendar, you can keep track of all your appointments and events in one place, avoiding the hassle of switching between different calendars. This ensures that you never miss an important meeting or deadline.

Record a meeting

MelpApp allows you to record your meetings so you can revisit the conversation and share with others. The recording captures audio, video, and any presentations shared during the meeting.

Here's how to record a meeting:

  • While in a meeting, click on the More Options button (three dots) located in the bottom bar.
  • Click on Start Recording.
  • Select desired option to begin recording your meeting.

You and your participants will see a red icon at the top right of your window when the recording is in progress.

Recording your meetings is a helpful tool to refer to important details and allows those who couldn't attend the meeting to catch up on what they missed.

Note: Please note that before recording a meeting, it's important to inform all participants that the meeting will be recorded. It's also important to ensure that recording meetings complies with any relevant laws or company policies.
